Importing the Course Files

There are various methods to import files. If you try to share the entire folder, Procreate may not appear in the options list because the folder contains various file types.

Please follow the steps below in importing the files.

Brush Set

  1. Double-tap the brush set file

    • Look for the brush set file in your Files App
    • Simply double-tap it and it will be imported to Procreate
  2. Sharing the brush set file to Procreate

    • Look for the brush set file in your Files App
    • Tap select and choose the file. Tap the Share option and look for Procreate from the list of apps.
  3. Use the Import Button In Procreate

    • Do NOT click "Import" in the Gallery
    • Open a canvas or create a new one by tapping the + Icon. Tap the brush icon and then the + icon.
    • Tap Import and look for the brush set file


Color Swatch

  1. Double-tap the color swatch file

    • Look for the color swatch file in your Files App
    • Simply double-tap it and it will be imported to Procreate
  2. Sharing the color swatch file to Procreate

    • Look for the color swatch file in your Files App
    • Tap select and choose the file. Tap the Share option and look for Procreate from the list of apps.
  3. Use the Import Button In Procreate

    • Do NOT click "Import" in the Gallery
    • Open a canvas or create a new one by tapping the + Icon. Tap the color icon and then the + icon.
    • Choose "new from file" and look for the color swatch file you want to import.

PSD File

PSD files can be added to a canvas as an image or imported to Procreate as PSD to display all the layers in the canvas.

To show the layers, please follow the steps below:

  1. Open the Procreate app and tap Import button in the Gallery
  2. Look for the PSD file that you want to import to Procreate
  3. Tap the layer icon and you'll see all the layers in the canvas

Add the PSD file to a canvas a a flat image:

  1. Open a canvas and tap Action (wrench icon).
  2. Tap Add and choose Insert a File. Look for the PSD file and tap it to add to a canvas as an image.
